How it was made

Each step is one image generation. The logos above went in as reference images, then each version was the reference for the next, changing only what missed.

v1Miss

All five at once

References: MOODENG, ANSEM, Pnut, CATE, pippin

All five logos went in as references and every trait showed up on the first try. Three misses: the green horns look like plastic pieces clipped on, the unicorn horn grows out of the forehead instead of through the hat, and the face is blank. Moo Deng is famous for her attitude.

Prompt

Glossy 3D render of one single cute chimera creature, the frontier class meme, centered, full body, sitting, facing the viewer, soft studio lighting, plain warm off-white background, toy collectible style, bold readable silhouette. The base body is a chubby baby pygmy hippo (like the Moo Deng reference): round shiny grey-pink skin, big round cheeks, small round ears, a sassy little smirk. Merged traits: two bright neon-green angular bull horns (from the black bull reference) growing out of the sides of the head; a tiny brown felt cowboy hat (from the squirrel reference) sitting on top of the head with the horns poking out on both sides; a short yellow unicorn horn (from the hand-drawn unicorn reference) poking up through a hole in the crown of the cowboy hat; long fine cat whiskers on the muzzle and a round gold coin medallion with a white copyright symbol hanging on a thin collar (from the golden cat reference); and a curly pink squiggly unicorn tail. No text other than the copyright symbol on the medallion.

v2Kept

Horn through the hat, attitude on

References: v1, MOODENG

Only the misses changed. The unicorn horn now comes out of the hat, the tail is attached to the body, and the open mouth with two little teeth is pure Moo Deng. The horns are still glossy plastic.

Prompt

Same glossy 3D toy render as the first reference: one chubby baby pygmy hippo chimera, plain warm off-white background, soft studio light, same tiny brown felt cowboy hat, same neon-green angular bull horns, same gold coin medallion with a white copyright symbol on a thin collar, same long cat whiskers, same curly pink squiggly tail. Change only these things: (1) the green bull horns grow out of the skull with a ring of grey hide at their base, matte and organic, clearly part of the animal, poking out from under both sides of the hat brim; (2) the short yellow spiral unicorn horn pokes straight up through a hole in the crown of the cowboy hat, not on the forehead; (3) body turned slightly to a three-quarter view so the pink squiggly tail is clearly attached to its rump and curls up behind it; (4) the face is feisty and sassy like the famous Moo Deng: mouth a little open showing two tiny lower teeth, one eyebrow raised, mischievous eyes. No text other than the copyright symbol on the medallion.

v3Final

Real horns

References: v2

One change: the horns are now real horns, ridged and growing from the skull. They lost the bull logo's sharp angles, and that's fine. Everything else held, so this is the one.

Prompt

Same glossy 3D toy render as the reference, keep everything exactly the same: the chubby baby pygmy hippo standing in three-quarter view, the feisty open-mouth face with two tiny lower teeth, long cat whiskers, the brown felt cowboy hat with the short yellow spiral unicorn horn poking up through its crown, the gold coin medallion with a white copyright symbol on a thin collar, the pink squiggly tail on its rump, plain warm off-white background. Change only the two green bull horns: they are now real bull horns with a matte, slightly ridged keratin texture in neon green, darker green growth rings near the base, and they grow out of thick wrinkled grey hide bumps on the sides of the skull just under the hat brim, so they clearly belong to the animal and are no longer glossy plastic pieces. Keep their angular upward-curving shape. No text other than the copyright symbol.
